I have been practicing law since 1992. I went to law school at the University of Washington, and during my career, I have served as a judge pro tem, arbitrator, public defender, law instructor, and an attorney in private practice. I have an active appeals practice, which has resulted in published cases in the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. My office handles criminal cases and traffic infractions.
CRIMINAL LAW
Successful defense in a criminal case leads to the dismissal or reduction of charges and penalties. I handle both misdemeanor and felony cases. My practice includes a large variety of criminal matters, including DUI, reckless driving, hit and run, suspended license, drug possession, MIP, theft, assault, harassment, malicious mischief, disorderly conduct, and domestic violence. I deal with many cases involving serious mental health issues and substance abuse. I can help.
TRAFFIC INFRACTIONS
Successful defense in a traffic infraction case may save you from adverse licensing consequences and increased insurance premiums over a period of years. Traffic infraction cases do not require an office visit. Simply call to determine the fee for your case and return our infraction agreement with your payment. In most cases, you will not need to personally appear in court for your contested infraction hearing.

To represent you, a written agreement is required. Payment in advance is required for all infraction cases. Short payment plans are acceptable for most criminal matters if an acceptable down payment is made in advance of service. Financial arrangements will be part of the written agreement. Credit cards are accepted.
